The RP660-3 is a small handheld unit (1 x AAA battery) which is used more for localised treatment of wounds or diabetic ulcers but can also be used in most other areas of Red Light Therapy.
It incorporates modern electronic circuitry to boost the 1.5V from the AAA battery to the level required to power the high power LED with a peak wavelength of 660nm and delivering a total of 3Watts light energy. Depending on the capacity, the battery lasts for 1.5 to 3.6 hours.
The unit should be placed 25-50mm from the treatment area for approximately 90 seconds to 6 minutes per treatment.
