U.K Orders

Payment can be made by Credit or Debit Card including Amex, Visa Electron, Cheque, Postal Order or by Paypal.

Overseas Orders

We ship worldwide. U.K carriage is charged from £5, or £14 for Special Delivery (via RoyalMail), Europe from £15.00, USA and the rest of the world from £18.00

Credit Card Security

We use Worldpay to process Credit and Debit Cards, the highest level of security is used Transport Layer Security v1.2 (TLS v1.2) to ensure that your card information remains secure.

Credit Card Fraud 

We are here to offer a service to our genuine customers not to fraudsters. Orders are manually checked before being processed. It is our aim to protect our customers and all card holders from thieves. Fraudulent orders are reported to the Police and the card holder. We fully cooperate with the authorities to prosecute and convict internet thieves.

Shipping

We endeavor to dispatch all orders within 24 hours. Orders within the U.K can be expected to arrive within 7 days - usually less. Orders outside of the U.K usully arrive within 14 days, please allow up to 20 days for delivery outside of the U.K. If on receiving an order we are unable to deliver an item within 7 working days, we will contact you. Delivery charges are added according to the shipping method selected by you. You will be informed of the delivery charge and the total amount payable before confirming your order. All prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling, there is a currency converter on our website.

Order information provided should be accurate enabling successful delivery.  If an incorrect address or telephone number is provided by the customer and results in a failed delivery we will need to charge the cost of redelivery.  For customers oversees this could cost more than £15.00 because the shipping cost is usually more than the price we charge for the initial order.  Should a customer place an order and the goods come back to us and are undelivered due to an incorrect address or telephone number we will need to charge the cost of re-shipping the package/s.  If the customer decides to cancel their order as a result we reserve the right to refund the total amount less the cost of shipping incurred to us to send the goods.  If the failed delivery was due to an error in the address or telephone number by us we will bear the cost of re-shipping the order.

Delivery Times

We endeavor to get all orders despatched in a timely manner.  Sometimes there are issues beyond our control such as delays from Courier and Royal Mail.  If you do not receive the delivery (UK) within 4-5 days of placing the order please contact us immediately by email as sometimes the postal service workers do not leave notes warning you of a missed delivery with arrangments of re-delivery or collection.  The goods can be automatically returned to us after 14 days.

Pricing

We strive to offer our customers only top quality products at the best price possible. We reserve the right however, to change prices and/or specifications without notice. E&OE. All prices include V.A.T

Voltage

All of our products are 12vdc or 24vdc unless otherwise stated. They are intended to be used with a 12v or 24vdc Power Supply and should NEVER be connected directly to the Mains.

Instructions

A Data Sheet or Product Guide should be emailed (as a downloadable link) to you or included as a printed document with all relevant products.

Please email us if you have not received instructions with your product and we will either email or post them to you.

Electricity

Always consult a qualified electrician before carrying out ANY electrical work. Where the law (in the country of installation) requires an electrician should perform the installation and connection of the products.

Connecting / Soldering

Any electrical connections to the products are made at your own discretion, Litewave Ltd takes no responsibillty for any electrical work / connections carried out by the customer or Electricians.

Diagrams

Diagrams are provided at no additional cost when you make a purchase from us. Please note that these diagrams are intended for use in conjunction with our products and services, not third party products which may even present a fire risk if under-rated cable is used. Utilizing them solely for external purposes, such as providing them to electricians or other professionals without engaging our services, is not permitted. Should you require detailed lighting consultancy, we offer this service at a rate of £75/hr + VAT.

Returns Procedure

If you have been sent the incorrect goods please contact us by email:

Upon receipt of your email we will instruct you on the return of the goods.

Although we check most goods before dispatch, sometimes goods are found to be faulty or defective upon arrival. In this case please contact us by email and we will arrange for replacement (depending on the goods), the item will need to be returned to us for inspection before a refund or replacement can be provided.

Transformers that are not IP Rated (Sealed) are non-returnable.  LED Strip is also non-returnable.

Should you place an order by mistake and are unable to notify us before it is dispatched we can offer a return and exchange (subject to carriage/shipping charge). We are unable to accept the item back if we are not notified within 7 days of receipt. Items returned to us must not be soiled or damaged in any way.

Special orders of non-stocked items are excluded from this policy and will be subject to a handling charge. Items that are made to order cannot be returned unless damaged or faulty, under such the item/s will be replaced/repaired at our cost.

For items returned within the 7 day period the value of the goods will be refunded less the postage / courier charge of sending the goods to you, this will be deducted from the refund. 

We must be contacted by email or telephone prior to arranging a return.  Goods must be returned to the P.O. Box address above so they can be processed speedily.

The cost of returning the goods back to Litewave will be paid by the customer and is non-refundable. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the goods are returned safely to Litewave Ltd, so the purchaser should use a signed for service with insurance that covers the value of the goods being returned.

Should we have to use a courier such as DHL/UPS/TNT etc for carriage of products such as Aluminium Profile, the cost of sending these (around £25) will be deducted from the Refund.

Currency

The currency is shown in U.K Pounds (£) Sterling / Euros / U.S. Dollars. When you submit your order you acknowledge acceptance of the price difference between our currency and your currency (should it be a different currency). There is a currency conversion shown on the Shopping Cart which enables you to see approximately what the charge to you will be in your own currency.

Should you later realise that £ Pounds Sterling are different to your currency and wish to cancel your order once it has been processed we can charge you an administarion fee for the order placement and subsequent processing.

Warranties

All goods are covered by the manufacturers warranties and/or guarantees for a period of 12 months unless shown othersie. Goods returned under warranty must be accompanied by a valid receipt. We endeavor to get any warranty issues resolved with as little delay as possible. Where necessary, goods will be returned to the manufacturer for inspection and report. We cannot issue a refund for items found to be faulty, suitable replacements will be supplied for faulty products under warranty.

Litewave Ltd will not accept responsibilityy for misuse, incorrect fitment or application by the consumer. Or consequential loss resulting from a product that may be faulty.

Litewave Ltd will not accept responsibility for carriage costs incurred in returning goods or for any fitting/removal costs involved in warranty items.

We do not accept responsibility for any installation or costs associated with the replacement of this product.   We reserve the

right to alter specifications without prior notice.

Property

Goods remain the propery of Litewave Ltd until paid for in full.

Customer Privacy

We value our customer's privacy and trust,  we will NEVER pass on your details to any other companies.

GDPR, we comply with these regulations.

Customer information is not sold, rented, or sent to any individual, company, or organisation.

In compliance with PCI DSS your card details are not stored.

Your information is used only in conjunction with the processing of your orders. We may email you with new products from time to time if you opt in for this service when placing your order - which you can easily opt in/out of by sending us an email request or following the unsubscribe link on the newsletter.

THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of these terms and conditions does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. By placing an order, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. All terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
